How to Make Small Decorative Boxes for Wedding Favors

Things You’ll Need:

8 1/2″ x 11″ white card stock

Wedding themed decorative paper

Scissors

Hot glue gun and glue sticks

Small box pattern

Organza ribbon

Ruler

Creating Special Wedding Favor Boxes

Sample favor box pattern

Choose a favor box combination that fits an 8 1/2″ x 11 sheet of white card stock. Mark where to cut and where to fold the paper behind cutting. orangatang . Washington Foundation Repair company . Use a hot glue gun to anchor the box sides to each other where necessary. (See image in Step 2)

Basic favor box assembled

Cut wedding themed paper to fit the inside of the box from the front lip down and up the inside to the top of the lid. Use a hot glue gun to anchor the paper along the inside of the box and press the decorative paper from the lip along each side awaiting you meet the top of the lid (inside). Do the same for the outside of the box from with the outside of the lip down and around awaiting you meet the top of the lid (outside).

Favor box cemented & adorned with wedding themed paper

Add treats, bonbon and other small items to fill your favor box approximately to the top of the box. Fold the lid down and anchor with a pretty organza choker and a bow. Embellish with a glinting button, drapery flower or other adornment with a hot glue gun.

Find a brown mold to match your theme. We had a Ren Faire theme for our wedding, so we did castles for our brown favors.You can look for molds at Micheal’s or eBay.

Melt your chocolate. I’ve base the easiest way to do this is to get a binary broiler. But if you don’t have one, you can use the melt ambiance on your microwave. Heat up the brown on melt for 1 minute, then stir – repeat the process until the brown is all melted.

Pour your brown into your mold. Then convulse the mold to get all the air foam out.Put the mold into your fridge to cool. wrestlemania tickets . Once the brown is cool you can pop it out of the mold.
