“We wanted to offer a truly original concept in claydough. Each style is expressly created to become a personalized ornament, and each ornament will be dated with the year to increase its collectivity,” she added.
These unique Snowball Scene Christmas ornaments can also be used in various holiday displays in the home. They are designed to hang on a tree or sit on a mantle or holiday table because they have a slightly flattened base. These ornaments can be used as pieces in a lovely holiday centerpiece, as party favors sitting at each guest’s table setting, or as a hostess or housewarming gift.

Custom Candy Bar Wrappers Deliver 10 Years of Success
Custom Candy Bar Wrappers Deliver 10 Years of Success
Traverse City, MI (PRWEB) September 7, 2007
Announce It!, a custom candy bar wrapper designer, is celebrating its 10th anniversary this month.
Like many stay-at-home-moms, Lori Shirley needed to find a balance between work and family. With a strong desire to raise her children herself and a longing to put her artistic talents to good use, Lori began a search for a vocation that would allow her to do both. It came in a surprising form: Candy bar wrappers.
After making wrappers for her son’s birth announcements and dabbling with the Internet, Lori found the magic combination she’d been looking for. She began making customized candy bar wrappers and selling them online. Now, 10 years later, Lori’s company, Announce It!, has gone from a part-time venture to a full-fledged business, complete with several full- and part-time employees. “I can still remember how it felt to get that first sale,” recounts Lori.
What’s been the key to her success? “I am always looking for new products and services in order to keep my site fresh,” Lori reveals. In fact, this year alone brought two major additions. In March 2007 a satellite of the Announce It! web site was added that specialized in wedding favors (see http://www.idoweddingfavors.com). In August 2007 a party-planning blog was started and, though not completed yet, will provide visitors with exceptional information, tips and resources.
“A web site is a crucial marketing tool for small businesses,” says StartupJournal.com, The Wall Street Journal’s guide for entrepreneurs. But what will ensure an Internet startup will make it through the first month, much less celebrate its 10-year anniversary? Frank Blateri has some tips.
Frank Blateri is CEO of Winnow Companies Inc, a full service supply chain management solutions company. His new book “Becoming a Small Business Champion” highlights several of the most important steps to take. Not surprisingly, Lori has done all 10. Blateri suggests that small businesses will be more successful if they define their niche, identify their strategic advantage, stay technologically competitive, constantly add new products or service and have fun among other things.
With 10 years behind her you might think Lori would be growing weary. Not hardly. With visions for new products and services as well as a dream of passing her business down to her two children, the future looks bright for this creator of custom candy bar wrappers.
